HOW SHOULD I THAW THE LEFSE?
Take lefse out of the freezer and completely thaw at room temperature before serving. Do not thaw out in refrigerator.
IS THE LEFSE SHIPPED FROZEN AND WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH IT WHEN IT ARRIVES?
Our lefse is shipped frozen. If you are not going to eat it for more than three days, please put in freezer. Even if the lefse is partially thawed out, it can be refrozen. If the lefse is going to be eaten in a day or so, put in the refrigerator, but please make sure the lefse is completely thawed out before refrigeration. Lefse thawed out in the refrigerator tends to stick together.
WHAT IS THE SHELF-LIFE OF THE LEFSE?
Our lefse does not contain a lot of preservatives. Once thawed out, it will stay fresh in the refrigerator about 7 days, less if not refrigerated.
HOW LONG DOES THE LEFSE LAST IN THE FREEZER?
Lefse will last in the freezer for several months.

HOW WILL I PAY FOR THE LEFSE?
If you do not have email, the invoice will be sent in the box with your lefse and you can send us a check. If you provide us with an email address, the invoice will be sent via email after your lefse has been shipped. When you receive the email, you can either pay the bill using Pay Pal or send us a check, whichever is more convenient. Please note that the email will come from “Montana Lefse.” Also, if you do not receive an email (and you have provided us with your email address), please check your Spam account.

Shipping & Ordering Information
Rate 1
Lefse will be shipped to these states using UPS or Priority Mail (flat rate box), whichever is more economical. Shipping days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.

Lefse will be shipped to these states using UPS or Priority Mail, whichever is more economical. Shipping days are Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
Rate 3
Lefse will be shipped by UPS (Monday or Tuesday) or by Priority Mail (Monday, Tues or Wed), whichever is more economical. In most cases, Priority Mail is less expensive.
Priority mail shipping costs are as follows:
1 pound of lefse - $6
2-3 pounds of lefse - $8 (average)
4-6 pounds of lefse - $13
7-10 pounds of lefse - $16
CHRISTMAS DELIVERY - all orders after the second Saturday in December need to be shipped using UPS, to ensure reasonable delivery time.

Lefse will be shipped priority mail, except the latter half of December, when it needs to be shipped UPS 2nd day air. Please call for prices.
All lefse orders must be received by noon Mountain Time (11 AM Pacific; 2 PM Eastern) on the day it is to be shipped.
Because of our remote location, Overnight delivery service is not an option.
Shipping Information:
We ship our lefse using UPS or Priority Mail, whichever is more economical for the customer. However, in the month of December, we ship only using UPS. We realize this may be more expensive than priority mail but UPS provides guaranteed delivery during the busy holiday season.
Orders to Montana and North Dakota can be shipped out on Mondays, Tuesdays & Wednesdays. All other orders must be shipped out on Mondays and Tuesdays (Wednesday if sent by 2-day air)
All orders must be received by noon Mountain Time (11 AM Pacific; 2 PM Eastern) It is slightly cheaper to ship to a business than to a residence.
Please call us, we can quote you a price for UPS shipping.
Note: Upon arrival, freeze any lefse that is not going to be eaten right away.
Shipping to warmer climates:
Granrud’s ships lefse frozen year-round, however, we ask our customers to be discretionary in shipping lefse to warmer climates, especially during the hot summer months. When shipping lefse to warmer areas, please select an address where someone will be there to receive the package (place of business, if you work). If no one is available, UPS carriers have the discretion to leave the lefse on your doorstop. Granrud’s reserves the right to ship lefse 2nd day air, at an additional charge, if we find it necessary due to the warm weather. Granrud’s is not responsible for loss of lefse shipped during hot periods.
Ordering T-shirts, Sweatshirts& Aprons :
Granrud’s ships merchandise with your lefse orders so shipping times will be the same as above. All shirts are men's sizes.
Billing Information
If you have an email address, we will email your bill and you can then pay through Pay Pal or send us a check. If you do not have an email address, the bill will be sent with your lefse. You can send us a check from there. |
